For 2008, the famed "One Lap of America" cross-country race has a very interesting entry. This isn't just any 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8.
The Challenger is clad in a bright white paint, with only sparse black trim. The 20" Foose wheels are very reminiscent of the vintage Challenger. The registrants are listed as "Kowalski and Super Soul". Does any of this ring a bell yet, folks?

Erich Heuschele (SRT Vehicle Dynamics) and Ralph Gilles (Vice President, Design) have teamed up to "Return to Vanishing Point". What's more, they didn't simply "borrow" the names...........they're also dressing the part!
Not since the 1971 cult-classic film have Kowalski and Super Soul been seen. While the One Lap event will be a throw back to the movie, there have been some small changes made. The Kowalski/Super Soul team won't be breaking the law; they'll be running this race within the boundaries of posted speed limits. Super Soul has had his vision magically restored for the one week period, and driving responsibilities will be shared. Finally, the team won't be delivering this one-of-a-kind Challenger to its owner. Perhaps Super Soul's clairvoyance will be able to determine if this Challenger has a future following the race.
